The Adolescents - Adolescents

after listening to a cassette tape recently(yes we still listen to them sometimes at muebles towers!) a friend of mine gave me about 20 years ago and reading through a book of old flyers called 'fucked up and photocopied' i decided to post this great cd from californian hardcore band The Adolescents.its got 16 tracks in total, 13 from the album and 3 tracks from a bonus e.p called Welcome to Reality. This is a post for fans of bands like Bad Religion,The Vandals, Pennywise etc etc. This is their debut album from 1981 and needs to be played loud.ive got a load more from this band if anyone has any requests for them.so now on St.Patricks Day please listen, enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

Ruts DC v Mad Professor v Zion Train

This collection contains the Ruts DC & Mad Professor album RHYTHM COLLISION DUB VOL. 1 (1982) plus the remixed version by Zion Train RHYTHM COLLISION REMIX (1999).a re-release of Ruts DC's definitive punk/reggae fusion record Rhythm Collision Vol. 1. This version is further enhanced with five 12'' bonus and vocal remixes. Originally released on the band's own Bohemian Records, this album was immensely influential in UK punk/reggae circles, and was subsequently re-released on the New York Roir label.

i got this version on a cdr from camden dave unfortunately with no covers so ive had to use what i could find on the interweb.sorry about that.if anyone has the cover from this is there any chance they could scan and post somewhere for me?i do like to burn all the cds i get and have covers for them so that would be lovely.

ok then you can skank about slowly while you listen to this, enjoy the vibes, then walk to the computer and type a comment.thanks so much!

Penetration - Race Against Time re-post

ages and ages ago someone requested this(i think!)so here it is and here is what the wonderful P5 blog http://thep5.blogspot.com/ had to say about it.

"On this date in 1980, Penetration released their third album, Race Against Time. The A side consisted of demos made between 1977 and 1978. The B side were live tracks recorded between 1978 and 1979. The album was made to look like a bootleg because of contractual issues with the record company and the fact that the band had disbanded a few months before. The punk band, fronted by Pauline Murray, was from Newcastle, England. "

so there you have it.please listen enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!
