2-Tone Tour Live in Amsterdam 1980

Morning all.During another trawl through the muebles archives last night i found this 16 track compilation recorded apparently on the 2-tone tour in Amsterdam in 1980. Now i have no idea where i got it from or anything about its origins etc but its a great sounding recording featuring songs from The Specials,The Selecter,The Beat and Madness.Not much else to say but listen,dance and then leave a comment.Thanks very much!

The Specials - Hyde Park 2012

Evening all,long time no see.ive not done any posts on the blog for a long long time.For a lot of reasons i suppose,life getting in the way,work,gobshyte junior growing up.it all adds up and doesn't give me a  lot of free time.but in a quiet moment while she is still away on her holidays i thought id try a post to see if there was any interest in the blog and whether it was worth starting it again.i check in sometimes and see that people come and check things out and still download things so thanks to all of you for keeping the blog alive.ive had to set up a new account to upload this post as its been so long since i used the last account to upload anything i cant remember the correct log in name or password!!
so lets give this a go shall we?this post is the Specials set from the Olympic closing ceremony concert at London's Hyde Park in 2012 which i went to myself.its a top quality recording taken from an FM broadcast.if you download please leave a comment just so i can see if people are enjoying what im posting.also if you have any requests for re-ups (and i can find the original cd's or files) i will do my best to accomodate your requests.thanks for reading and by the way it feels good to be back

this is a post i got sent a while back and once again cant remember who sent it,so if its you please say hello so i can say thanks!its as its title suggests its 3 demos recorded i believe in 1981.ive been told before that one track is actually fun boy 3 but i was also told by another source that it was recorded in the same session as the other two tracks by the specials.im a bit confused now so ill leave it up to you to decide.i really like all the tracks and i think you will too.so now all you have to do is listen,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

The Specials - Live Louisiana,New Orleans January 1980

REPOST:Good evening everyone in interweb land .For your listening pleasure this evening we present this wonderful "missing" show from the Specials recorded at the Warehouse in Louisiana  New Orleans on January 26th 1980.This show was very kindly donated by Lordgeorgejerry who didnt record the gig but who was there and owns the master recording of this show and he has very kindly sent me a d/l link for the show to post on the blog. I also have to thank Deco for doing a great job in splitting the file into individual tracks. As Lordgeorgejerry mentioned in his email to me he was at the show himself and remembers Neville hanging from the rafters singing "Monkey Man".They were opening for the police at this show and played a much better gig than them!!
Anyway its a great sounding show with 19 tracks for your listening pleasure. So id like you to listen enjoy,leave some comments thanking LGJ and Deco for their work.Thanks!

Evening all in interweb land. This is a post thats been kicking around on the hard drive for a while waiting patiently to be posted. Ive been listening to the recent brilliant live on radio6 post from The Specials that i got here at auralscuptors and i remembered that i had this one ready to go. I suppose its an expanded version of an earlier post i did called mashups and remixes and is in a similar sort of vein to the clash post outside broadcasts.anyway this has got 26 tracks in total for your listening pleasure and does exactly as it says on the cover.some interesting collaborations including tom jones and the wu tang clan amongst others. anyway i hope you find something on there that you like so now please listen,enjoy and leave a comment.thanks

(Repost no. 2 today)hi there all you people out there in interweb land and welcome back to the wonderful world of mondo-de-muebles.for your patience i give you this,an 8-track compilation of various specials remixy type of things.once again some of them are quite good and others not so good.my favourite is rat inferno but each to their own.so kids buckle up,put on your safety goggles and prepare yourself for a breakneck speed rollercoaster ride throught the theme park here at muebles towers.play this loud,dance around your flat/house,sneak to the computer when you realise the neighbours have been watching you dance through the window,enjoy and leave a comment.thanks!

Good evening listeners and welcome back after far too long an absence to another stonking live offering from Coventrys favourites The Specials. This offering comes from my own copy of the c.d but unfortunately i dont know to make eye toons import artwork and still cant operate my wifes scanner so you will have to put up with this random band picture i got from the web somewhere.its a brilliant show which was a great one to be at for me especially as they played my favourite track 'guns of navarone' which i have waited over 30 years to hear/see performed live.ive been to other gigs on this reunion tour but they never played it until now.it was also great to hear tracks from 'more specials' live as well.anyhoo i really hope you enjoy this live offering as a first posting in months.over the next few days i will get round to working my way through reposts etc and posting a whole bunch of new stuff.so as you know by now all that remains to be done is listen,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!
