The Housemartins - London0 Hull4

a great listen here for you today from the self christened '4th best band in hull'.i only started listening to this again recently and thought it might be good to share here.ive got all the 7" in fact nearly all the vinyl they released and this is another album to bring back a lot of happy memories.some great singles are on this one including 'happy hour' which if i remember correctly had a very funny video to go with it.anyway im sure you all know the story of the band who initially formed in 1983 as a duo but went through several line up changes and at one point included future fatboy slim norman cook.so without further ado its time to listen, enjoy and leave a coment.thanks!

I had this on vinyl when it first came out. I hadn't thought on it in years. Then I heard "Happy Hour" on satellite radio yesterday. Of course I'm gonna give it a listen. Thanks for the post.

Nice one gobby! These songs so are infectious. The "bass solo" on "We're Not Deep" is the one that made me learn to play bass.

I'd love to hear "I Bit My Lip", the b-side to "Me And The Farmer", if you have it.

All the best!
