The Clash - Do it Now

moving on to clash post no.2 today we have this show recorded by the clash II in switzerland in 1984.another audience recording here with reasonable sound throughout.i say reasonable only because you can hear some people in the audience talking clearly at the beginning of a few tracks but its still listenable and a good one for clash completists.so play it loud, enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

The Jam - Holland 1982 radio show

The Jam - Live at the El Mocambo

i did a trade yesterday of some live boots and this is the first one i got.its a great show from the jam recorded as the cover says at the 'el mocambo club' in toronto in 1978.i love that name,it conjurs up images of hawaii to me for some reason but im rambling now.the sound on the c.d isnt bad but in a couple of places it sounds 'stretched' not for a huge amount of time but a second or two.anyway its a great record of the jam in their prime.listen out for when paul weller goes mad when someone chucks beer at him.its after song 3 and its brilliant.anyway over to you to play loud(ish),enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

Firstly thanks to PABBY for recording the gig and then uploading to dimeadozen for us.if you read the comments he has another specials post to come soon.i cant wait for that one.top notch guy and we all thank him a lot.

woohoo.thanks again to madphil for the headsup on this gem and also to longy for the advice on winrar and also to camden dave for all the other stuff involved in getting this recording to you.me and camden took longys advice and as he said bizarrely enough it seems to have worked.we also did the gig as winzip instead of winrar and maybe that worked too.but we downloaded it again to check and it WORKS!!!all 27 tracks of it (although one is the break when they left the stage before the encores).i think the sound is slightly better too which is always nice.so until the next posting or next tuesday may the 12th when i see some of you at brixton academy(ill be in front of the mixing desk wearing a mondo-de-muebles t-shirt!!)play this loud,enjoy and leave a comment.thanks!

ok this is driving me mad.lately when i rip a cd or listen to an mp3 someone has sent me the tracks play fine.when i 'winrar' the file and then 'unrar' it it plays fine but after 'winrar' and then uploading to mediafire and then downloading and 'unrar' to check it ,it usually has a track or two in it thats corrupt or thats had a few seconds cut from it.how is this happening?i dont understand.when i uploaded files to rapids****e i never had this problem apart from them removing my posts alltogether,but lately as ive started using mediafire again this is happening quite a bit and is getting to be a pain in the arse.can someone offer an explanation as to why im having these problems with uploads?maybe ill go back to using rapids****e.anyway thanks for your attention and i hope someone out there has an answer.cheers
