The Clash II - Patriots of the Wasteland

i decided to repost this clash II show as i remember when it was on megaupload it was one of the most popular clash shows id posted.anyway this is a brilliant show.soundwise its fantastic and the whole thing just crackles with energy and tension.opening track london calling gets halted about a minute into it for joe to complain about the spitting.seriously it is a feckin excellent gig.if you go to www.blackmarketclash.com and you can check out the full story, its a good read.so after reading that come back and listen, enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

Actually, Black Market Clash lists this not as the first show, but the first U.K. show. Apparently, the five-man, Mickless Clash performed nine dates in the U.S. first. Thanks for this though, looks great!

The show date, by the way, is Feb. 10, '84.

This site has a link to the Back to Basics bootleg, which was mislabeled "Hammersmith Station" but Black Market Clash verifies as Gateshead Station (a club, not a train station), Newcastle, May 11 '85:

enjoy!

Great fuckin' blog! Such a great show here! The version I have looses the stereo on the 2nd and 3rd tracks, I fixed them with Pro-Tools, does that happen on anyone else's version?
