The Slits - Primavera Festival 2010

as a tribute to Ari Up lead singer of the slits who died yesterday,i present this gig recorded earlier this year at a festival in spain.there are 11 tracks here with a great version of 'i heard it through the grapevine' being a standout for me.this is a brilliant recording and i think really shows what a brilliantly underrated band i think they were.our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time.

The Go Go's - Live in Tokyo

a great live show here today from the go-go's recorded in tokyo in 2004.its a really good sounding show which includes a great version of our lips are sealed.i used to have a bunch of their albums,shows etc on cassette but they have now gone to that great big blog in the sky.but thats not important.what is though is that you listen,pretend its the 80's again, enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

Dexys Midnight Runners - Rockpalast 1983

evening all.to quench your musical thirsts this evening we have this wonderful recording from dexys ,which was recorded for the tv show rockpalast in 1983.considering all the boots that surface from that show they must have some archive!anyway this features 14 tracks and they're all great. a very good sound from this gig which i think all you dexys fans will love.so once again its time to listen, enjoy and leave a comment.thanks!
