another clash related post for you all to hopefully enjoy comes this one inspired by the good folks at blackmarketclash.com .they published a list of artists who they said had covered clash songs and asked if anyone could send them the full list.i did a little digging through the muebles archives and using my crack team of researchers (ok my wife and one of my nephews!) managed to get most of them except police and thieves by buffalo tom.(yes i know its not a clash original but they made it their own).anyway i emailed buffalo tom and according to buffalo tom themselves they never covered the track but i did find a version they did of straight to hell so that is included in its place.some of these cover artists may surprise you and one of them almost isnt really a proper cover(if that makes sense!) but youll hear what i mean.anyhoo its over to you the listener to listen,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

p.s one of the cover versions here isnt the best quality,sorry but its the only version i have.see if you can guess which one it is!

An interesting post for you this evening. This is the unreleased soundtrack to the 1993 film of the same name which was directed by Sara Driver. The film was only ever shown at a few festivals i believe and to this day has not been released on dvd etc. A nice listen with a mixture of vocal and instrumental tracks. Bit of an obscurity this one and a nice piece for your Strummer collections. please listen,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

Morning all. This post arrived to me this morning courtesy of jimbo in Antrim(thanks mate!).its a 26 track compilation that consists of various single b-sides and the live tracks are from the acton town hall concert including the encore tunes with mick jones.its a great compilation and definitely worth a play or two.so please listen enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

Morning all.This post combines the ruts live at strathclyde university and the freerange demos from 1977. This post is a great joe strummer and the mescaleros mini show recorded live on the jools holland show sometime back in 2000. its 4 tracks  (well technically 5 if you count the opening 'jam')and features 2 tracks from the clash and 2 from the mescaleros. really good sound quality so i can only assume this was taken from a video rip or something like that. anyways thanks to reggie for this, its a really nice addition to my clash/joe strummer collection. so please listen, enjoy and then leave a comment.you know it makes sense.dont forget to include repost requests etc in the comments too or if there is anything in particular you would like to see you only have to ask.thanks very much.

The Armagideon Times Vols 1-3 Please help!

Afternoon all and welcome to Muebles Towers on this unusually sunny afternoon in old london town. I have a request for help here for all you good people out there in interweb land. I have the 3 vols of Armagideon Times that came with the recent box set extravaganza but what i would really like is digital copies of them so i can keep gobby juniors jam covered hands off them and so i can read them on my kindle. Does anyone know if there is anywhere to buy them digitally or does someone have them as a pdf and would be willing to send that my way?
