woohoo,i got a great package delivered today of a whole load of c.d's,live bootlegs etc with lots of great tunes that i know your all going to enjoy.the first one to be posted and plucked at random from the box is this one.its a really nice compilation from the peel archives.some great versions of s.l.f classics including one of my all time faves 'johnny was'.the band recently celebrated 31 years together and if they play in a venue near you go and see them, you wont be disappointed.right then, listen, pogo, enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!
it seems the blog world is going 2-tone crazy at the moment so here i am with my contribution.its the soundtrack to the film of the same name and its fantastic.each song is a classic ,filled with an energy that makes it impossible not to dance to.this is a great rip with all the songs included, none of this no madness here!it was done by someone i know who prefers to remain nameless and hes included nice scans of the covers from the record, cassette and vhs versions.there is also a scan of the front of the dance craze magazine that i got some where else.incidentally if anyone could point me somewhere i could see the whole magazine that would be great.right over to you guys again.put this on,listen, dance around your living room, enjoy and leave a comment.thanks!
the legendary kings of psychobilly return with their second album originally recorded in 1986 and featuring such classics as 'alcoholic rat', 'billy' and 'momma kurt'.the band famed for their wild stage antics are still gigging and are definitely worth seeing if you get a chance.so get psycho, enjoy and leave a comment.thanks!

another brilliant release on big beat records.this feature bands such as the damned, the cramps, tall boys and roky ericsson.everyone who has seen the film will also remember 'partytime' by 45 grave which also features here.this upload is from an original c.d but when i moved house i seem to have lost the covers etc to a whole box of c.d's.so ive scanned some pics from the vinyl release instead.so listen, enjoy and leave a comment.thanks!
a great compilation from a sadly under-rated band, formed in late '78 and continuing until 1981.there was another line up that continued after this but they aren't on this compilation.influenced by everyone from the ramones, the stooges to the beach boys this cd deserves to be in everyones collection.some nice sleeve notes with the c.d that i will post later.listen, enjoy and leave a comment.thanks! http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?cbbdgk4qzfu
this album was recorded live in detroit on october 30th/31st 1968.to quote from the sleeve notes "we were punk, before punk.we were new wave, before new wave.we were metal, before metal."if you haven't heard this album before then do yourself a favour and give it a listen.turn the volume all the way to 11 and prepare yourselves for pure sonic fury...... enjoy and leave a comment.thanks! http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=f7aa7bc938750597ab1eab3e9fa335ca188f6c07bc4ac668
