This is a show recorded by The Clash II at Brixton Academy in December of 1984. It was a benefit gig for the families of striking coalminers in England and Wales. The Specials - Brixton 2009

another repost tonight,this one is for jimbo in antrim.its basically the cd that came with the times newspaper plus 4 additional tracks from the same gig plus a rehearsal recording of concrete jungle.when i was going to scan the cover originally i stood on it(d'oh) so thats why it looks a bit creased!anyway i hope you all listen,dance about your flats,houses,bob up and down if your listening to it in the car etc enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

The Cramps - Live 1990

evening all.many years ago i bought this bootleg from a stall in camden market.it had this show on one side and one from the ramones recorded in sheffield in 87.it was part of the bbc 'in concert' series and had spoken intros about the band giving a brief history of each one etc and then there was several songs from each band recorded at each venue.anyway after many years of hunting i finally have the cramps part of this bootleg.i got it from camden dave (cheers dave!) recently and it is one of the best cramps boots ive heard.its only 8 songs long but each ones a cracker.hearing this again after so many years brings lots of great memories flooding back.so if like me you remember hearing this on one of those camden cassette bootlegs with the photocopied onto yellow paper cover,then this ones for you.it is a really great set that deserves to be played loud.so please listen,enjoy and if you have a moment leave a comment.thanks!

this is a great clash boot requested by someone ( a while ago)whos name ive forgotten.sorry!its a vinyl rip and its a great sounding show.this one is only 12 tracks long and i know theres a full version of the show somewhere but ive heard the sounds not as good as this 12 track version.but that wont spoil your enjoyment of the show.so play it loud,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

Sex Pistols - There'll Always Be An England

this is a great pistols show here with excellent sound quality.it was recorded at brixton academy not too long ago for a dvd release of the same name.i think the cd here is taken directly from the dvd.anyway not really any surprises with regards the songs they played but its a good document of an always great band live and on record.ive seen them a couple of times and ive always enjoyed it.anyway promise to play this loud,listen carefully to johnnys between song banter,and then enjoy it so much you feel compelled to comment on it.thanks!

The Specials - Back to Brixton

firstly i want to say a big thanks to H.J and Jack T. for sending me the extra tracks from the recent specials gigs at the academy.ive been listening to them as i type this and they are great versions.you get "hey little rich girl, man at c+a, you're wondering now" to take the total up to 16 tracks from the brixton shows.also thanks to HJ for sending me the link for the bonus track which is a rehearsal recording of concrete jungle in 2008 and to camden dave for doing all the technical stuff converting from video to mp3.so once again its up to you to listen,enjoy yourselves ,dance and then leave a comment.thanks!
