UB40 - Peel Sessions

Seasons greetings to all of interweb land.this christmas cracker (bdum tsh!!) comes courtesy of mr. camden dave who stopped by muebles towers last night. anyways this is a compilation of 2 UB40 sessions from '80 and '82 and is a great listen especially the tracks 'king'and 'food for thought' from the session broadcast in 1980. the second session is in one longish file as neither of us had the technical prowess to split it into 4 seperate tracks but we are hoping someone out there will !its a great listen cos you get all john peels between song banter etc between songs as well.anyways dont know if i will get a chance to post anymore today as i still have all the christmas shopping to do so if i dont merry christmas or happy holidays or whatever to all of you.so please now listen, enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

The Clash - Competition time

ok a bit of a competition of sorts.ive been given two clash gigs recently, the US festival from '83 and one from tokyo in '82.now i have them on the hard drive but they are files i dont understand like .bup etc.when i open the folder using VLC it works fine and i can select the chapters and everything but i want to be able to put them on a dvd and watch them on the t.v.what programme can i use to get them to do this?(the folder is labelled VIDEO_TS if that helps).on my wifes mac computer there is a programme called 'toast' that ive used to burn dvd's before but they were avi files.can i use this programme to do this?there is a selection option whereby you can make data disks or can turn the file into one that will play on all dvd players.ok as you can see i am very confused.the person that can send me a link for a very simple programme to convert these files into playable dvds along with instructions on how to use it will get a copy of these gigs(if they want them)on 2 seperate disks with cover art sent anywhere in the world.thanks very much and i hope to hear from someone very soon.hanx!
Megaupload problems
unfortunately megaupload is being a pain in the arse again.it seems that the message 'file temporarily unavailable' is rearing its ugly head again.this is nothing to do with me,its a problem at their end.so i can only suggest that you keep trying the links and hopefully normal service will be resumed as soon as is humanly possible.sorry for any inconvenience this is causing.
