hi all.first post today ( for jockman70) is a repost of the specials recent glasgow gig.i know a lot of you had probs with the downloading so im reposting it in the hopes that this one reaches you in better condition.ive tried downloading and unzipping it myself and it all works great.so hopefully its now sorted.cheers

Hi Gobshyte! Many thanks for the re-post, hope it wasn't too much trouble my friend. As they say in Glesga 'Yer some guy for the wan guy!' English translation - TOP BLOKE! There's some quality choons on yer site & cos of the re-post, i feel that i owe you one. My Clash/Strummer/Mescaleros bootleg collection is about 95% complete, there ain't much left for me to get, i'd love to post some stuff for your site but i'm not tech minded so i haven't a clue how to do it. If there's anything that you've been looking for, let me know how to put it up or else i can send you the discs if that's easier. P.S. my work supervisor (Cookie) went to The Specials hometown hoedown at the Ricoh in Cov last Friday and said it was an amazing atmosphere - this sounds like the one to get from the reunion tour if anyones recorded it. We work with Neville Staples nephew (Sab) and there were a few jealous types (myself included) cos he got free tix fae his uncle. Thanks again Gobshyte for letting everyone hear how good The Specials still are.
hi jockman,glad the repost worked out ok.i know someone who was looking for a mescaleros gig.i think it was a show in bristol i must check.so if you had that one it would be great.i hope the specials continue as a band after all these gigs and festivals are over this summer.i would love to get a chance to see them again.anyway ill get back to you about that mescaleros gig.cheers fella
