The Jam - PinkPop Festival 1980

This is a fantastic recording capturing the jam at their live best.rick bucklers drumming on this is excellent and the band sound really 'tight' at this gig recorded at the pinkpop festival in holland in 1980.wonderful sound here so its a soundboard recording i reckon.what else is there to say but listen, enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

The Jam - Live at the El Mocambo

i did a trade yesterday of some live boots and this is the first one i got.its a great show from the jam recorded as the cover says at the 'el mocambo club' in toronto in 1978.i love that name,it conjurs up images of hawaii to me for some reason but im rambling now.the sound on the c.d isnt bad but in a couple of places it sounds 'stretched' not for a huge amount of time but a second or two.anyway its a great record of the jam in their prime.listen out for when paul weller goes mad when someone chucks beer at him.its after song 3 and its brilliant.anyway over to you to play loud(ish),enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!
p.s more 'jam' to come tomorrow when i have a day off work.yippee!

The Jam - Live from Scumbag College

ok this absouloutely cracking live bootleg from the jam was recorded at reading university in 1979.i only called the post 'scumbag college' because of the label on the back cover and i thought it was funnier.its also the name of the university from the young ones.but im digressing now.this show has great sound so it must be a mixing desk recording.so hopefully youll really enjoy this show that showcases the legendary live power of the jam.so now put on your parkas and sta-press trousers (maybe some shoes as well if youre going outside) and dance, dance, dance.then after enjoying leave a comment.thanks!

The Jam - Live in N.Y 1978

post no.3 today finds us in good shape and in the middle of a u.s tour by the jam in 1978.ive not found out too much info on the interweb about this gig but i believe that the dickies were the support act on at least one of the dates.that for me would have been a fantastic gig to see.anyway a good sound quality recording here on this c.d with a really nice version of London Traffic being a highlight for me.does anyone know if this club still exists?anyhoo put on your dancing shoes, play this loud, enjoy and then sneak up on your computer and scare it by leaving a comment.thanks!

The Jam - Live at the Rainbow '79

for the 2nd post this month another fine show from the jam from their 1979 tour.recorded at the rainbow theatre in sunny londons finsbury park its another testament to what an exciting live band they were.i believe this was originally a bootleg which was later released as the bonus disk from the 'BBC box set' but was only limited edition so it has now resurfaced as a boot again!
so put on your parka and your sta-press trousers, crank this up to 11 and dance like it was 1979.oh yeah, enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!
